After reading your Umrah stories I am deeply moved. I will be leaving for my first Umrah on the 27th of Feb insha Allah and I just can’t wait, I’m so excited! May Allah always keep you happy!
Mabrook on your first Umrah, and may Allah make it easy for you. The first time is the most exciting journey. Enjoy this blessing by making the most out of this spiritual journey.
Salaam,
Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience. InshaAllah, my husband, I and our daughter will be going for our first Umrah in April. From your personal experience, do you have any recommendation for comfortable footwear for women and men? Some do’s and don’ts perhaps. Jazakallah khair
My husband always wore leather sandals during Umrah (remember, men must not wear something that covers their ankles) and I wear slippers (the kind in which I could wear socks and walk easily). Do not wear anything expensive – there’s always the risk of footwear getting lost or stolen.
