Covering a vast area of 47.5 hectares and costing around AED 200 million, Zabeel Park is a one of the most beautifully landscaped park in Dubai.

Entrance ticket costs AED 5 per person.

I’ve heard from someone (not necessarily a reliable source) that a game of cricket here would cost you AED 4,000!

That’s the prayer hall.

I have had enough adventures in the ocean, so this boat ride didn’t appeal to me.

A place where you can kick your shoes off, relax and have a quiet time.

A Chinese looking house, but you can’t go in – simply because there is no entrance!

I have absolutely no idea what this was.

Kids having a great time.

The park is open to public until 11 pm. There’s a fabulous place for BBQ – but I didn’t take pictures because there were families around, specially women.

Nice shots, I like the one of the house without entrance in particular.
Fantabulous series of park shots!
Now that is interesting. Like an oasis. I wonder what the chinese looking structure was supposed to be.
Oh, what a wonderful place! So beautiful! and I love the place for the children to play! and the Chinese house with no doors! there have been times in my life when I would have liked to be inside a house with no doors! Thanks not only for marvelous photos but the information about each one as well. Have a lovely week!
A lovely, lovely place, indeed. So exotic for me!
Wow, every thing is nice and green. I love these shots.
Have a great week!

It is another world to me fascinating and so pretty.
Dubai must be the wonderland of the Arabic peninsula. Creating such a green park in the middle of the desert is a great job!
What a beautiful place one could spend a lot of time there for sure

A nice place for families to relax in. It is difficult with photographing sometimes, especially with women in the picture. I found it difficult in Oman as well.
Salams sis Nadia,
This park looks absolutely beautiful!
And hope you’re doing well, sis.

This looks like a very nice park. I should visit this place the next time I go to Dubai.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment on my site. I love your photos also.
Photography is something that really gets into me.
Nice post! I like the prayer hall; it is charming. But that Chinese house–just for decoration?! Wow!
wow awesome place … would love to come over here !!
wow…beautiful pictures!
The “chinese house” is a miniature replica of a Japanese castle,…could be either Nagoya Castle, Himeji Castle or Hikone Castle or a mix of their designs…just in case it is of interest!
Therefore there is also no door since it is only a small replica!

“I have absolutely no idea what this was.” – your comment on a photo above – it’s a cube sculpture by David Harber from the UK http://www.davidharber.co.uk/corporate/zabeel.html
Why, thank you so much, Frances!
