    1. It makes you the kind of Londoner who needs to revisit the city and play tourist for a while 😀

Thank you, Londoneya. Who knows our paths might cross in London sometime in the future. You can never tell 🙂

    1. Yes, it’s a very impressive structure, Iram. The great time I had was more related to me being with my sister. I need to visit London again to see everything that the city has to offer.

  1. It. Is. London. Bridge. 😛
I googled for london bridge and i came to know that even google isnt sure about London Bridge.
Matlab one of the first things taught in academic life is a lie? London Bridge was always THIS bridge that falls down.
Khair, your pictures are as usual lovely, I wish to go there one day inshaAllah. Your blog is turning me into a traveller ab Nadia Baji 😛

  2. This was a very lovely short post. I am glad you enjoyed your time meeting your sister. Your photographs are making us fall in love with the whole idea of “being in London”. It’s perhaps about the time you captured in your snaps. Cold evening.

    1. Thank you so much, Khanum. I was surprised to find London rather narrow and small (everything looks bigger in photographs and TV) but it does have its own charm.

  3. I had the same sentiments when I went there. I asked my uncle to take a photo of mine with the ‘London Bridge’ as the backdrop. He then corrected me and said it is ‘Tower Bridge’. Oh well. I went there twice and I enjoyed chatting with him while people watching and as I stare at the different bridges within River Thames. I miss it. Is this the reason why you weren’t not to sold with your London trip? 😛

    1. Mica, I suppose my trip was too short to be able to truly enjoy the city. Another reason could be exhaustion: I had just returned from a 6-week US trip.

    1. Thank you, Sharmila! This was just a stopover on my way home from a business trip. I was only allowed three days off because some critical projects were underway.

  4. Ah, London! One of my favourite cities. I could go there every time and find something new to see and do.

Btw, how come I don’t get notified of your new posts? You don’t post on facebook or twitter?

  5. I have a whole list of all the things I need to see/do in London, each time as Mezba said, there’s something new to see!

    Very nice pictures at night!
